Tahoe, Tiger, and MJ

Kylee's been in "Fall Vacation" now for about a week - here's some pictures of our trip to Tahoe (thank you to Uncle Vance and Aunty Linda) and the President's Cup.  Ok - I didn't take the Pres Cup pictures (no cameras allowed) but this was my first professional golf tourney and what a tourney to watch!  A number of the top players in the world competing plus MJ as an assistant coach!  Got to see many of the pros up close and personal - awesome experience.

Coby and Cody came with us - here's the three kids on a park outside of Incline Village.  Nice to have fun playmates for Kylee

Kylee at the top of the Fireman's Lookout Hike.  Yes, we did it again. . .  yes, it was very tiring but a ton of fun!

Jaron and Kylee - notice the snow on the ground.  Jaron and Ethan LOVE S'mores.  We had a blast with the bbq out in the snow

Kylee hanging out at the 'rock throwing' place as she calls it.  The weather wasn't the greatest - the surf was real choppy due to the storm that rolled in.

We braved taking the kids to the top of NorthStar - a resort not too far from King's Beach.  Things went relatively well. . . until Kylee got motion sickness.

Tiger at the President's Cup.  What a rush to see him play!  Two of sports most iconic figures - Tiger and MJ both at the tourney!  Plus a number of golf's finest.  I felt like a little kid again running around to see everything and taking the experience in!  What a rush.

Frank suggested we go to the first hole and watch as the players get introduced and smash their drive since it's a 556 par 5.  What an experience - we were about 25 yds down the right side of the fairway - saw all the intros and took it all in. . . . . .

So this is what the greatest basketball player does now in his free time - sit on as an assistant coach to the US Team, drive a golf cart all around the golf course and get to hang with the world's finest.  What a life!

Love,

Daddy, Mommy, and Future Stanford Golf Team Members - Kylee, Jaron, and Ethan!
