In retrospect, I should have taken a video but I was too busy chasing Kylee. So, the boys spent a long morning and a few hours in the afternoon in the stroller. After being good boys during the princess lunch, we let them loose at a little play area. Kylee and I were climbing up a fort and here are some pictures from a roughly 30 second segment of Jen watching the twins. Everyone asks us "what's it like watching twins?" Well - here's a glimpse.
Ok - we all seem to be in one area. Ethan is sitting and Jaron is walking around - nothing unusual.
Notice how Jen is a little blurry here - Ethan is taking off for the BOTTOM of the slides where the kids are coming down and Jaron is going to socialize with whomever will listen to him
No no Ethan, you'll get knocked over! Jaron: "Hey - I haven't gone over here yet - I wonder where this path leads."
Jen puts them back at square one - a place by the wall and off they go again! Notice again that Ethan is heading for the slides. . . . Jaron just wants to run!
OK - looks like the boys are finally cooperating for Jen. Now, imagine what this will be like in a year when they are RUNNING! ! ! ! ! ! I'm tired thinking about it and in this instance, feel like I got the luck of the draw picking the rope obstacles with Kylee. :)
Will post more from D-Land later!
Aloha,
Kylee, Jaron, Ethan, Ray, and one tired Jenny
